A group of academics from the University’s Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship took part in a seminar on innovation which was held at Radboud University, the Netherlands, on December 8.
The seminar served as platform for exchange of experience and know-how between the Research Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Studies of Innovative Projects (the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship, Lobachevsky University) and the Nijmegen School of Management (Radboud University, the Netherlands). Speakers included Alexander Grudzinskiy (Director of the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship at Lobachevsky University), Alexander Bedny (UNN Vice-Rector for International Affairs) and Ms. Olga Petrova (First Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship). They spoke on ways to continually develop an innovative university.
Prof. Allard C.R. van Riel, who visited Lobachevsky University in March, led a discussion on innovation in business ecosystems. Dr. Bas Hillebrand and Dr. Paul Driessen, researchers in the field of marketing at the Nijmegen School of Management, focused on mechanisms for commercialization of university-based innovations.
The seminar provided participants with plenty of opportunities for networking. The academics discussed cooperation and ways to expand links between two universities.
