Ginzburg Maria Yurievna graduated with honors from Department of Finance, Faculty of Finance at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. In 2005 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Improving the budgeting methodology as a factor in increasing the efficiency of the financial management of the enterprise”. In 2008 year Mrs. Ginzburg became an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance. Since 2000 she has been working at the Department of Finance. She speaks fluent Russian, English, Italian and Czech languages.
In 1996-1997 Mrs. Ginzburg studied at University of Calabria (Italy) on the TEMPUS program «State regulation of economy». In 2010, she took career development training at the Far Eastern State Technical University (Vladivostok, Russia) under the program «Issues of transition to Federal State Educational Standards of the third generation». In 2014, Maria took advanced training in Lobachevsky State University «E-learning technologies in educational programs in the field of innovative entrepreneurship» and «University governance for competitiveness».
Mrs. Ginzburg is an active participant of international joint research projects with universities of UK — Portsmouth University (Portsmouth), Salford University (Manchester), the United States — North Carolina State University (Raleigh), Czech Republic — Masaryk University (Brno). She is a permanent participant of Russian and International conferences (Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chicago, Brno).
Mrs. Ginzburg has been carrying out active scientific work with students: In 2012-2015 academic years, she prepared 23 students to participate in international scientific conferences and forums (such as the “Lomonosov” (Moscow State University), Moscow International Forum of financiers (Financial University, Moscow), etc.), where students captured top spots, or became finalists.
Also Maria Ginzburg participates actively in the work of the Inter-departmental Student business incubator of Lobachevsky State University.
