On March 1-2, Prof. Alexander Grudzinskiy, Director of the IEE and Prof. Yury Kuznetsov, Head of the Institute’s Department of Mathematical Modeling of Economic Processes visited the University of Rennes 1 to discuss student exchange and joint educational and research projects. The IEE is establishing a partnership with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rennes 1, one of the two universities in the city of Rennes, France. Both institutions are partners in a project that can receive Erasmus+ funding.
Recently, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rennes 1 invited researchers from our Institute to work on the application of mathematical methods in the analysis of monopolistic markets. Prof. Yury Kuznetsov, Head of the Institute’s Department of Mathematical Modeling of Economic Processes, and Assoc. Prof. Alexey Semenov visited the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rennes 1 to develop a programme of joint research with colleagues in Rennes 1. Scientists are expected to make a joint presentation in the international conference on “Innovative Economy: Regulation and Competition”, which is being held at Lobachevsky University on June 23-24, 2016.
